It is important NOT to get into power struggles with your child over food. Eating and meal time should be a time to relax and connect as a family. If you have a picky eater, make sure to serve a variety of foods at the meal, including one thing you know your child likes to eat. Also, it will be helpful to have the food on the table ‘family style’ so each person can serve him/herself. Then model eating a variety of foods for your child. As long as your child is healthy, they are okay to eat a limited selection of foods - typically kids outgrow this. #parenting #pickyeaters #powerstruggles #gettingmychildtolisten #childfollowingdirections #parentingweeklytip

It is though, critically important that a child IS able to sit at the table. Long-term it is helpful for resolving fussy eating and supporting them to eat variety. Loyalty can be quite simple 1) Consistent, good food quality 2) Fast service 3) Friendly staff 4) Clean Restrooms 5) Fair price I will never stop eating this food for that reason. Even when one of these above fails, the forgiveness is there with the other items succeeding.
