For our #PeopleofDentonCounty, we proudly salute our Women Veterans. This incredible group, many of whom are current or former employees of Denton County, have honorably served in various military branches, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, and the Reserves.???? The Denton County Commissioners Court recently had the privilege of honoring the courageous women who have served in our armed forces. We celebrated their dedication and sacrifice with a special breakfast and proclamation ceremony. During Commissioners Court, each veteran was presented with a unique quilt from Quilts of Valor Texas. The mission of Quilts of Valor is to bestow a universal symbol and token of thanks, solace, and remembrance on those who served in harm’s way to protect and defend our lives and freedoms. These beautiful quilts are lovingly made by the hands of countless volunteers who wish to express their gratitude and honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans. Thank you to all the women veterans for your unwavering commitment to protecting our freedom. Your service and dedication inspire us all.

As a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), BC Holdings of TN honors the service and sacrifice of veterans and their families today. Thank you for your bravery, commitment, and dedication to protecting our freedoms. According to the U.S. Census, Veterans Day originated as “Armistice Day” on Nov. 11, 1919, the first anniversary of the end of World War I. Congress passed a resolution in 1926, making it an annual observance, and it became a national holiday in 1938. Sixteen years later, then-President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed legislation changing the name to Veterans Day to honor all those who served their country during war or peacetime. As of 2023, there were 15.8 million military veterans in the U.S., of which 1.7 million are female veterans. BC Holdings of TN stands ready to help veterans take control of their financial futures, offering the tools needed to build stability and peace of mind. #VeteransDay #VeteranOwned #VABenefits #FinancialWellness #BCHoldingsTN

To understand the rank of Fleet Admiral, one needs to consider the context of World War II. The United States was working alongside Allies who had higher ranks like Field Marshals and Fleet Admirals, which were superior to American ranks. To ensure American senior officers were not outranked, the United States established the ranks of Fleet Admiral and General of the Army, both five-star ranks. In total, nine men held these ranks. For the Navy, they were Nimitz, Halsey, King, and Leahy. In the Army, the five-star generals were Arnold, Eisenhower, Marshall, MacArthur, and Bradley.

May is Military Appreciation Month, a time to honor and recognize the contributions and sacrifices of the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Every day, American service members and their families make the selfless decision to help defend our freedoms and safety around the globe. Military life often involves huge sacrifices – whether it’s relocating far from family and friends or service members’ spouses giving up their own careers to keep their family unit together. There are countless ways to show your appreciation and give back to our veterans, active military personnel and their families. One of the simplest ways of showing appreciation is to say, “thank you.” You might also consider giving a military spouse a hand in their day-to-day lives. If you know a deployed military family, why not drop off a meal, offer to babysit or take their dog for a walk? And if you’re a business owner, giving back can be as easy as providing a military discount. These small gestures can go a long way in supporting service members and their families. As a veteran myself, I understand the importance of support and camaraderie within the military community and I encourage you to join me in showing appreciation in whatever way you can, both this month and always. #MilitaryAppreciationMonth #MilitaryAppreciation #Veterans #SupportOurVeterans

Director of Communication @ Senate Republican Leadership | Crisis Management | Public Speaker | Accredited Public Relations
Today, your Air Force turns 77 years old! On September 18, 1947, the Department of the Air Force was created under the National Security Act of 1947. Formerly the Army Air Corps, we celebrate standing up as a separate service 77 years ago. For the past eight decades, the United States Air Force has dominated the skies and provided close air support for our troops on the ground. Air support for the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps and our own supporting forces to fly, fight, and win without fail. We have exhibited air superiority in every major battle this country has participated in. Superiority. Air Dominance. Owning the skies. I realize some people aren't necessarily comfortable with these domineering words. I understand that the idea of going to war doesn’t sit right with some people.? Make peace, not war.? Well, the United States should exhibit these attributes with our fighting forces rather than have countries who would rip the very fabric of this republic out from under us. Peace through strength is a better posture, a better plan to protect this country and all we hold dear. I am a trustee for the Air Force Museum Foundation. If you haven't been to Wright Patterson Air Force Base just outside of Dayton, Ohio, you need to plan that trip. You will be WOWED with five hangers of air history.? Plan to spend the entire day.? It will only cost you time, gas money and a bite to eat, because the Air Force Museum is FREE. Let me know when you’re planning to be there and I’ll meet you there! #airforce #afmf #airsuperiority #commandthecrisis

Whatever America Hope's to bring to pass in the world must first come to pass in the Heart of America.Pay attention to the universe, it's so translusive. At a time when national power is held by the wealthy, there is a urgent need -if democracy is to serve for people to organize in own communities. The wisdom of nations lies in their proverbs, which are brief and pity. When god wants to give a message, he makes sure it gets delivered. God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers.?You always pass failure on way to success. happens for a reason. Is it more than coincidence- Devine nature of light. Is god visible-his humorous ways.A core value that drives is passion for justice- political spectrum emphasis? is on harnessing? these techniques and strategies to increase equal opportunities and Justice in our society -caring for each other and making society more equitable. Truth often suffers more by the heat of its definiatives than from the arguments of its opposers. Has been known to be said, "no way of judging of the future, but by the past." That concerns me, for my children, our children- America in general. I'm determined to not let the root of all evil overrule In God We Trust, especially in family courts. In spite of what's been recently demonstrated, as well as defining and exercising the concepts that differs: helping, protecting, and enabling; right and wrong- for what reasons and for whom. There has been a variety of incidences leading/ leaving me with redirecting concerns. If I was to write out (rewrite at least the incidents up -it would be a novel; can only speak the truth.Better execution of our innovation. Initiative is our challenge. We live in a age when change is acceleration. Breaking the system takes care. Has always been a pioneer in providing innovative business ideas, and community involvement. Executive Assistant to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Military Community & Family Policy (MCFP) in the Organization of the Joint Chiefs at the Pentagon.
Today we honor and celebrate the 249th United States Army Birthday. We extended our deepest thanks and gratitude to every Soldier serving on Active duty, Reserves, National Guard, Veteran, Retirees, and their families for your service to our nation. We honor and remember those Soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice to defend our nation, our allies, and the values of the US Constitution. #DeptofDefense #ThePentagon #MilitaryCommunityandFamilyPolicy #USArmy #ThisWeWillDefend History The United States Army (USA) is the land service branch of the United States Armed Forces. It is one of the eight U.S. uniformed services, and is designated as the Army of the United States in the U.S. Constitution. The oldest and most senior branch of the U.S. military in order of precedence, the modern U.S. Army has its roots in the Continental Army, which was formed on 14 June 1775 to fight the American Revolutionary War (1775–1783)—before the United States was established as a country. After the Revolutionary War, the Congress of the Confederation created the United States Army on 3 June 1784 to replace the disbanded Continental Army. The United States Army considers itself to be a continuation of the Continental Army, and thus considers its institutional inception to be the origin of that armed force in 1775.
