It always disheartenes me when I hear of closures of factories and letting go of employees. The process disrupts the flow of work with negative vibes felt across in every email and meeting. Sometimes I wonder if reviewing the compensation packages of the top #executives may come handy instead of coming down on the everyday families. But then again distribution of #wealth globally is distorted immensly. One would think that as the world is netted closely, more #humanity would be shown. This reminds me with the work I did in #Africa in launching #chocolate in New markets. They grow the #cocoa beans and have never tasted chocolate! #fwdConsultancy #emerging #leadership #organisation

The theory that companies of any size can cost-cut their way to profitability has historically more failures than successes.? Clearly there has to be ways to mesh the humans with the non-humans but I suppose the robots don't need health insurance or file worker's compensation claims. While labor will ALWAYS be a company's single largest expense, it should also be treated as its greatest asset.? Sad day.
