When it comes to putting safety first, our crews are second to none.

The whole team trained. ?? 2 fantastic courses working with the security team of a prestigious 5 star hotel. Collaborating with the Director of Security and Safety Martin Kane, Everyday Self Defence trained the team in: - Effective decision-making in fast-moving situations - Law and policy - Post-incident considerations - Conflict communication and de-escalation - Controlling space and safe approach - Team-based control and restraint - Self-defence against sudden assault - Edged weapon awareness - Post-incident reporting All the subjects covered on our Enhanced Security Training Team Course. But the goals of the training are much more than the skills learnt, it’s about enhancing communication within the team through building their confidence to train together, respond together and support each other post incident. And a personal shout out to Martin who lead by example. It would be all too easy to just send the team and stay in the office. But Martin was the first to arrive, the last to leave and participated fully in both courses - true leadership. Plus we got to share stories about the ‘old days’ in the security industry and found out we had some mutual acquaintances from many (many) years ago. #securitytraining #wellbeing #employeesmatter #selfdefence #deescalation

Unloading excavator from a trailer by local drivers without any support or any safety measure. Wow ???? To boil it down, taking shortcuts is just an individual choice.
