15 Secret Hacks to Become the Office Superstar (and Possibly Unemployed) These hacks can make your tech lead's hair turn gray in record time. Want to become an unforgettable developer? Follow these 15 genius tips: - Delete all comments from your code. Real geniuses don't need explanations! - Forget version control. Just keep 100 copies of your project folder: "final_v1", "final_v2", "final_final_v3"... - Testing is for losers. Real pros debug in production! - Use creative variable names like "x", "y", "z", "a", "b", "c", "abc", "XYZ" etc Keep your team guessing! - Deadlines? More like guide-lines. Surprise your team with project completion dates! - Documentation is so boring. Keep all project knowledge in your brain for job security! - Code reviews slow you down. Merge directly to master at 4:59 PM on Friday! - Consistency is overrated. Mix coding styles like a DJ mix tracks! - Fixing bugs? Nah. Keep adding new features until the old ones magically fix themselves! - Communication is a waste of time. Let your code speak for itself (in binary)! - Security? That's the ops team's problem! Use 'admin123' as the password for everything. - Always use the newest, untested framework for every project. Who needs stability? - Memory leaks add character to your application. Let it eat all the RAM it wants! - Refactoring is for the weak. If it is not broke (completely), don't fix it! - Error handling? Just catch all exceptions and ignore them. No errors, no problems! P.S. If you actually want to keep your job, maybe do the EXACT OPPOSITE of everything above. Just a crazy thought! ?? #developers #softwareengineers #freshers #hiring #jobs #dsa #javascript #techlead #teamlead #crazy #mean #mern #qa #cloud #devops

?? Tech Talent Insight of the Day: The Hidden Value of T-Shaped Engineers In my conversations with CTOs this week, one theme keeps emerging: The most impactful hires aren't just technical specialists - they're T-shaped professionals who combine deep expertise with broad adaptability. What I'm seeing in successful tech teams: - Backend developers who understand UX principles - Frontend specialists who grasp infrastructure implications - DevOps engineers who can step into product discussions Real scenario: Recently placed a Python developer who became invaluable to their team not just for their code, but for their ability to bridge communication between engineering and product teams. Their broader understanding of the business context made their technical decisions more impactful. ?? When hiring, consider: - How candidates approach problems outside their specialty - Their curiosity about the broader tech ecosystem - Their ability to communicate across different domains Question for my network: What unexpected skills have made your technical hires stand out? #TechHiring #SoftwareEngineering #TechTalent #Engineering #TechRecruitment #CareerDevelopment Salt Looking to build a more versatile tech team?
