BMW M3 EV Spied Testing, First Electric M Car? There have been multiple spotting instances of the first all-electric M car from the Bavarian car marque! The?BMW?M3 EV (or i3 M) was spotted testing wearing a massive camouflage. However, we know that it will borrow most elements from the BMW Vision Neue Klasse concept. While the regular EVs from BMW have been doing decently well on the sales charts across the globe, the German auto giant wants to introduce electrification to its famed M Division as well. You must know that M Division makes some of the most impressive performance monsters on the planet. Consumer Reports has released its "14 Best EV Buys in 2024" list, highlighting the dominance of Korean and German automakers in the electric vehicle market. The BMW iX topped the list with a score of 84/100, followed by the Hyundai Ioniq 6 and BMW i4 tied for second place. Notably, Hyundai/Kia group and German manufacturers like BMW and Audi accounted for over two-thirds of the top-ranked EVs. The study evaluated around 50 electric vehicles based on performance, range, comfort, and quality. Interestingly, some EVs fell short of their EPA-rated range by up to 50 miles, while others exceeded their claims. Investing $65 billion in electrification and software through 2030. CEO Toshihiro Mibe announced the plan - which includes rolling out new EVs with a 300-mile range starting in 2026. Honda aims to cut North American battery costs by over 20% and reduce production expenses by 35%. But, even with tough competition and slowing EV adoption, they still plan to launch seven new models globally by 2030. I wonder what these will look like.
