I like this framework. Having worked with the #caf competency framework, this is leaps and bounds ahead in terms of its straightforward and easy to explain framework.

A brilliant and accessible framework that can be adapted and adopted by any organisation.

This is very good! I have always been of the opinion that the leader needs a combination of vision, empathy, and decisiveness to effectively guide and inspire others. 1. Vision allows a leader to set clear, strategic goals and inspire their team with a sense of purpose and direction. 2. Empathy enables a leader to understand and address the needs, concerns, and aspirations of their team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. 3. Decisiveness is crucial for making timely and effective decisions, particularly in challenging situations. But above and beyond, I’ve come to understand that integrity and accountability are also essential, as they build trust and respect, ensuring that the leader's actions align with their words and the values they espouse. All are clearly a “work-on” across most professions. I’m betting that any who read the ???? Centre for Army Leadership paper will identify segments that require a little bit of personal reflection? I include myself in that self-analysis. ?????? #ExtremeOwnership

The power of knowing when to move out of the way when reaching personal capabilities and capacity is a crucial skill for military members and veterans alike. In the heat of the moment, whether on the battlefield or during everyday duties, it's imperative to recognize when you've reached your limits. Pushing beyond your capacity can lead to physical, emotional, or mental harm, not just for yourself but also for your comrades who depend on you. Recognizing when it's time to step aside takes true strength and wisdom. Doing so creates space for others to take charge, ensuring the mission continues seamlessly. This selfless act is a hallmark of effective leadership in the military. Owning this self-awareness can prevent unnecessary consequences and maintain the team's integrity.
