Cutting Medicaid Funding ?? what does that look like?please read the PBS report to understand what headlines like this mean to the life of community members, co works, voters. Please share with in your network. Bussness are networking all the time for personal gain and insight. Help move the insight we have as providers, caregivers, family's and most importantly services recipients into the mindset of Bussness and Legislatures who understanbly don't know becuse there not living it. On our own we are a powerful number, by engaging with our personal networks and letting them know that there are systemic funding needs, and profound service changes going on we can get back to getting back to the work of service providers.

NEW HUMOR ALERT: While it may be a good idea for many companies to put out mission statements and statements of purpose, I'm not so sure it was such a great idea for the Heritage Foundation and Trump to do so in the form of Project 2025. The now-(conveniently) disavowed document shows that maybe it's not always a good idea to publicize a low quality product. I'm only 70 pages in on my Project 2025 project and I still can't believe the weirdness behind this...whatever it is. Today, I cover how the Heritage Foundation wants to deal with drugs and sexuality. Somehow they manage to link both of them to wokeness. https://lnkd.in/gZzUgMVZ

When I feel unsettled, I like to listen to music particularly Bob Marley, this is my Zen music and calms the mind. This Morning? as i started my day I was listening to the song WAR ( one of my favourits). Reflecting on Marley's poignant lyrics in "War," where he sings, "Until the colour of a man's skin is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes," we are reminded of the urgent need to address racism and discrimination. These words resonate deeply as they highlight the arbitrary nature of racial distinctions and the damaging prejudices they foster. Today, the rise of far-right violence and extremist conflicts is deeply troubling. Such violence only deepens societal fractures and creates an atmosphere of hostility, which is particularly concerning for our children. These incidents can have a lasting impact on their perceptions and well-being. It's crucial that we have age-appropriate conversations with children about race and conflict. Educating them on the importance of diversity and empathy is vital in building a more inclusive and compassionate world. This is also a timely moment to reassess our work with vulnerable children, ensuring we prioritise cultural competency in our educational and caregiving spaces. By promoting cross-cultural learning and understanding, we can bridge divides and emphasise our shared human experiences. Let's take this opportunity to reflect on what true unity is, how we are address and not shy away fasing the reality that racisim is still alive and what we need to do protect the well-being of all children, working towards a society where inclusivity and empathy prevail. Together, we have more that brings us together than divides us.
