When I first accepted the role as an Executive Assistant in an interior design company, I had this picture in my head that Interior designers/companies pick out beautiful curtains, choose color schemes, hang nice picture frames, and maybe throw in a few stylish rugs and pillows. Imagine my shock and the number of reality checks I got in just one month and a few weeks in, I’ve witnessed how much strategy, precision, and coordination go into every project. From managing complex client communications to keeping track of project timelines and budgets, there’s so much happening behind the scenes. ?? In this short time, I’ve learned so much about time management, decision-making, and staying organized in a fast-paced environment. Every day is a new opportunity to grow, and I look forward to doing better in my areas of weakness as I am all about growth.
