A six-pack? That might mean consuming less than 1,500 calories/day. ??/ ???? ?????? ????????: Once you're clear on the goal and the effort required, the next step is to put in the work CONSISTENTLY. ????????. ????????. ????. Why do we trust? This endlessly fascinating aspect of human experience binds us together or pushes us apart. Some of us see being trusted as a higher compliment than being loved.??Trust enables cooperative action and reduces unhelpful resistance, so clearly, it’s critical for change and agility within organisations. Research by Adam Waytz, a professor at Northwestern University, suggests that people who trust more register an increase in productivity by 50%, experienced less burnout by 40%, had 29% higher life satisfaction, 74% less stress, and 106% more energy. But trust is a complex, slippery topic. It’s not easily defined by simple models of competency and character because much of what informs why and how we trust others and institutions happens beyond our awareness. For example, our physical and emotional state plays a huge role in our capacity to trust others, but this is rarely explored. In this show, we talk to @AshleyReicheld, who has studied trust and its organisational impact. One finding is that trusted companies outperform their peers by 400%, so it’s clearly a source of competitive advantage. In our uncertain and often difficult world, people, communities and organisations that can be trusted will become ever more valued and valuable.
