Are you sick of your job? You aren’t alone. I recently saw a survey on LinkedIn that showed 80% of respondents were considering leaving their current job for something different. How can we expect a healthy culture, high productivity, and a loyal fulfilled workforce when they simply don’t feel appreciated or valued?
There is nothing more powerful than basic human wants and needs. Acknowledgement, appreciation, even praise are tools that management and co-workers often lose sight of. These types of gestures are even more important in the new remote/hybrid reality. And, never let a manager, owner or HR person tell you that showing appreciation or simply saying 'thank you' too often lessens the effect. That is simply wrong! Human beings cannot be told that they are appreciated and are doing a good job enough, provided the sentiment is sincere. Happy Thursday everyone!! To everyone at HR Covered Inc ... You are all rockstars!! And, that goes for all of you out there too ?? https://lnkd.in/gXNXfz4F #hr?#humanresouces?#hrconsulting?#hroutsourcing?#hrexperts?#hrsupport?#hrpolicies?#companyculture?#employerofchoice?#recruitmentstrategy?#retentionstrategy?#appreciation #thankyou #lovemyteam
Because the younger generation grew up in a culture where everyone got a reward, everyone got a sticker everyone got a star well, guess what everybody’s not a star everyone’s not perfect everyone there Hass to be losers and winners. That’s all there is to it you have to learn how to do something well and like doing it and if you haven’t found that out by now I don’t know what to say. I personally love Landscaping I personally love people I personally have excel at communication. Why? Because I care about people about what they think about who they are and if I can help a little that makes me a better person and feel better about the day and about my job
Saying “thanks” to your employees matters more than you think- https://mailchi.mp/349cb3876b52/saying-thanks-to-your-employees-matters-more-than-you-think?fbclid=IwAR2gatNFZy72IdDDuiLS4QCALStILvyiMYyN07-KzrD49Dz31RFaE9JUDfQ
I am a super believer in praising an employee when a job is well done! That gives them the initiative to take that extra miles to do even a better job! Kudos to those managers/executives who do!
You bring up a very solid point.

1 年Being late-career, I rely less on manager feedback than peer feedback -- not so much verbal attaboys as work seeking me out.? When peers request assistance with a task or project, this speaks to respect and confidence that I can help get the task accomplished.? Increasingly, requests come from other enterprise operations, which speaks to reputation and name recognition. ≈
