Symetri Building Safety Summit 10th October - Don't Miss Out!! With the results of the 'Grenfell Tower Inquiry: Phase 2 Report' and a number of high rise fires over the last couple of weeks, Building Safety is very much front of mind, not only for those involved in design, construction and operations of high rise structures, but with the UK population as a whole. On October 10th Symetri Europe host our 3rd Building Safety Summit to look at how digital construction can support improvements in the way we build better and more safely moving forwards. We look at maintaining the #goldenthread of information throughout the design, construction and operation phases, to ensure all 3 Gateways are effectively navigated inline with the new #BuildingSafetyAct requirements. In addition to digital construction experts and representatives from architects, contractors and building owners we will be joined by the Building Safety Regulator to get updates, support and insights from their perspective. We believe that the data vital to meeting the requirements of the Building Safety Act, can also drive huge value in other areas of building management. ?? Building Safer, Simpler, and Smarter ?? The Building Safety Regulator (BSR) is taking a major step forward by reviewing the Approved Documents. Why is this important? For years, professionals have found ADs overly complex, ambiguous, and difficult to use. The Hackitt Review (2018) and the Grenfell Tower Inquiry both highlighted the need for simplified, digital, and regularly updated guidance. What’s changing? BSR is focused on: ?? Making guidance clearer and easier to use. ?? Ensuring regular updates to reflect modern practices and technology. ?? Improving accessibility for SMEs and all users.
