We just launched a new beta test - AI playlists. It’s a feature that uses AI chat prompts to help you curate personalized playlists. It’s still a work in progress but I’m excited for you to give it a try. We’re starting with Spotify Premium users in the UK and AU, so, let me know what you guys think.
This is a feature that can retain me as a loyal customer. I hope it does not only rely only on the prompt, but can for example take references from my history (if selected) or other playlist I made by hand (if added), because then that would be in fact a pretty good taste-o-meter. Wrapped is something that honestly made a difference. There's so much music available, yet the good old dopamine kick and going mental with a song happens not so often any more. There's simply too much to choose from, and there's too much of everything, meaning, every time I think of "going on a quest", I know I will have to swim in s*t literally up to my ears ;) I see you are releasing it regionally, but if there's an option for individual testing-adoption, I'm very much in and open to sharing my 5 cents.
Looking forward to testing this! Let us be next. You don't need to have all of Sweden testing the feature at this point. Only people in Gothenburg should suffice. ??
Super nice feature! But calling it an “AI playlist” will be a instant turn off for most music fans. Read the room, Spotify!
It is fun, but I wish Spotify had a better recommendation system based on my tastes, instead of asking me in a chat Please, refer to Yandex Music and their endless flow based on your personalized experience. It has options: mood, language, genre This would a better killer feature, I bet. It is getting annoyed that I got the same recommendations, even though I click on “dislike” a track, they keep popping up over and over again.
Sounds like www.audioatlas.com to me ??
Spotify will be the first to replace artists with generative music creation as soon as it can . Guaranteed . Then they keep the whole pie and humans lose . If it’s supported. Real music and art will become a dark art that will slowly rebuild and take out these parasites as music lovers will crave authentic human-created art once again . I see the game . It’s obvious .
Just give artists more opportunity to monetize by allowing them to put exclusive releases behind a paywall, you know like you're doing for the podcasters and authors of Audiobooks on your platform ??

7 个月Honestly, I’d prefer that you paid fair royalties to the artists without whom you’d just have a bunch of useless code. Especially seeing today that subscription fees are going up again.
