Here are some items you might want to consider packing in your carry on luggage for a long haul flight 1. A portable power bank. ( Not all Airplanes have USB charging ports but if you lucky enough you will most likely need a multi-functional USB data cable/ Type C cable) 2. Your prescribed medication. ( It is very important to pack your medication into your carry on/hand luggage rather than your checked in baggage as it helps with easy access for when you need it example: your pain killers incase you encounter any back pains from sitting down for too long ) 3. Mini toiletry bag with Minimal products to help you freshen up. ( Remember this is a long haul flight and you want to make sure that you are still good after all your mini naps, especially before arriving at your final destination. So try pack the basics that you going to need but also ensure that you adhere to the ALLOWED sizes of your quantities example of this would be your Aerosol deodorant spray. A maximum of 100ml is allowed! Anything over 100ml will be thrown away at security so to avoid this stick to anything below 100ml then anything over 100ml should be packed in your checked in luggage.) The State of California is looking to ban CLEAR - a Premium service at airports to speed up your wait times in security lines (full disclosure I am a paying member and love the service).? Is this an equity issue or just a premium service? The bill that is being proposed does not prohibit CLEAR from creating their own security line at airports which might be an interesting option. If this bill passes, what other "Premium" services might be considered an equity issue? 1) Airline Clubs that let you buy a membership 2) Doctors that offer concierge services 3) Premium membership for commercial-free streaming 4) Speed passes at amusement parks 5) Premium Movie memberships 6) Premium upgrades to let you board an airline before others Just a few examples. For those who travel on a frequent basis, it’s always a good reminder of what you can and cannot bring in a carry-on. Personally, I prefer to pack for the days I’m away from home in a carry-on to avoid delays in getting my luggage. Given that, I need to be thoughtful about what I can bring with me for the week. Here are some items for consideration: It is Certain…? ? Protein Bars ? Shampoo & Soap in small containers ? Medication in pill form ? Apples and Bananas Don’t Count on it… ? Magic 8 ball ? Baseball bat ? Pepper spray ? Swiss Army knife While there is a balance between art and science in life, air travel is not one of them. Bring a fig bar on a flight, and everything will be good. Bring a butane tank filled with flammable liquid, and bad things will happen. When in doubt, check the FAA site to validate that what you can bring won’t be confiscated by a TSA agent; it’s better to do this rather than telling the agent at the gate, “reply hazy try again” when asked why you are attempting to bring a large bottled water in your bag. #airtravel #applesaregood #baseballbatisbad
