Meet our apprentices and get an insight into emerging talent in engineering as they earn and learn and take control of their careers
?
iconsys were delighted to welcome Telford College to the Technology Hub to meet emerging talent Ben Morris-Jones, Jack Evans and Chris Jesse, and see them at work as they progress through their respective apprenticeships in engineering.
?
This is what?Milissa Chesters MA HRM, FCIPD, Head of People and Culture, has to say about what we look for in an apprentice:
?
“When looking for a new apprentice, we look for a ‘Teamiconsys’ fit, it’s important that our talent are all team players and hold a ‘can do/will do’ attitude.?
?
“We look for talent who are hungry to learn and grow.?We want our apprentices to be brand ambassadors of iconsys and advocates of our core values of People, Quality Partnerships and Innovation.
?
“A number of our senior leaders, in engineering, including our founding member, Trevor Darrall, have come from an apprenticeship background and see the value of growing up in a company and building strong relationships in the business along the way.
?
“Having apprentices and graduates makes perfect business sense and we see it as both a business and social imperative”.
