Today, on Indigenous People's Day, let's honor the rich history, culture, and contributions of Indigenous peoples across Canada. As we celebrate, it's crucial to recognize the work still needed towards reconciliation. Call to Action #92 from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission urges the corporate sector to adopt the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples as a reconciliation framework and apply its principles, norms, and standards to corporate policy. This means respecting the rights of Indigenous Peoples and engaging in meaningful consultation. By focusing on education, training and employment partnerships, we aim to build a more inclusive and equitable industry. We believe that true reconciliation is a journey that requires ongoing effort, understanding, and respect. As we move forward, CME remains committed in its mission to support Indigenous Peoples, recognizing that our industry—and our country—are stronger when we seek truth and respond with action. https://lnkd.in/gzqSZfm5

Looking forward to meeting up with global mobility experts and immigration leaders in the space. There should be some exciting updates and insights from industry leaders holding sessions on the upcoming election and its implications for immigration and mobility. If you're attending, let's grab a coffee and discuss my favorite topic: certified translations for the relocation industry. ??
