Even as a solopreneur, I'm committed to connecting my work to social impact. When I describe my coaching/consulting practice to prospective clients I say, "if you're sitting at the intersection of courage and comfort, I want to go on the journey to courage with you." This is where the magic happens. It takes courage to transform your career or your life. And it takes courage to make transformational change in the world. As I consider ways to use my platform to affect change for the social issues that matter most to me, I am guided by what courage has to teach me. *Food Security *Literacy *Educational Equity *Disability Inclusion *Voting Rights Last year I read the book, Social Justice for Sensitive Souls by Dorcas Cheng-Tozun which spoke to me as an empath invested in social change. One quote in the book (from Parker J. Palmer) underscores our proximity to our soul work: "Before you tell your life what you intend to do with it, listen for what it intends to do with you. Before you tell your life what truths and values you have decided to live up to, let your life tell you what truths you embody, what values you represent."
