Make sure you are following these tips to avoid being in a car accident: Set your phone to Do Not Disturb while driving. If you must take a call, find a safe place to pull over. Keep using hands-free or talk-to-text phone features to a minimum since it’s still easy to get distracted. Preview your route before traveling to a new location. Check for road work, inclement weather, and delays. Keep up with auto maintenance. You may conduct a casual online search for background details by entering their name along with terms like “arrest” and “felony.” Numerous public records are now accessible through online court databases, allowing you to investigate any criminal history and check for past evictions or housing court cases. While these issues may not necessarily disqualify them, they can offer insight into the individuals you are dealing with. Rather than meeting at their residence, suggest that clients come to your office to discuss their pre-approval letter, essential requirements, preferences, and budget, as well as to identify potential properties to showcase. Pose questions to determine their level of commitment to buying or selling, such as their timeline, motivations, duration of their search, and any other agents they have previously collaborated with.
