Here's to 2024! ?? Reflecting on everything I’ve worked on this year, I can’t help but feel proud of the creative projects I’ve brought to life, and the impact they’ve had. In today’s world, where visual design drives more than 70% of brand perception, being part of this impactful journey has been incredibly rewarding—not just as a creative but as someone who thrives on building meaningful connections through design and visual storytelling. From collating quarterly newsletters that bring stories and updates from every site together in one cohesive place, to crafting business showreels and delivering campaigns like National Customer Service Week and Employee Appreciation Day, every project has been about connecting people and celebrating their contributions. I’ve worked hard to design materials that reflect our values—kindness, inclusion, excellence, opportunity, fun and growth—while making teams feel truly valued and recognised. Being part of a field that combines creativity, storytelling, and innovation is endlessly rewarding. I can’t wait to grow even further in 2025 and see how design continues to transform connections and conversations!

Who said you can’t onboard, rebrand and launch a new website in four months? Not me ?? I’m delighted to see our new brand in action. So much blood, sweat and tears went into this! I joined Contentoo - quality content at scale back in August, and we have accomplished soooo much in the past four months.?Was it exhausting? Yep. I am so tired. But this process taught me a lot. So, in typical LinkedIn fashion, here are a few things that launching a new brand and website taught me: ?? Small teams can do big things. With the right manager (shoutout to Thomas van Til ????) and a fully engaged team, you can actually do a lot. ?? Ambition pays off. Setting big goals pushed us out of our comfort zones, and now we have this shiny, cool website to show for it. So yeah. ?? Done is better than perfect. Yes, we’re still fixing a million little details. That’s okay!!! (this ones mostly for me ok) ANYWAY If you’re doing a lot right now, I get it. It’s hard. You’re sleepy. I am too. ?? The good news? At Contentoo, we help teams (like ours) achieve big things without headaches. And with our brand-spanking-shiny-new-brand/website, it’s easier than ever to get started. ??
We’re officially in our rebranding era ?? Since 2017, we’ve grown and evolved and now feels like a good time for a new look that reflects who we are: a young, ambitious team with big plans for content.? ?? Meet our new colours: ?? Quality ?? Creativity ?? Trust ?? Optimism We’ve got a new look and feel, but our goal has not changed. We want to make content creation easy, cost-effective, and scalable—no matter the ask. Mapping out your client's journey might sound tedious, but understanding the process your client goes through when they interact with your brand is the most important branding exercise you can do. Think about it. If your positioning is the space your brand occupies in your customers' minds, what better way to strengthen it than to deliver a customer experience they'll want to tell their friends about? Starting to feel that "happy feeling" of working in a team of tech wizards, all at the top of their game, pushing the barriers of what is possible. 2024 is going to be a MASSIVE year! One or 2 more things to sort out in the new office. Then we're set up for success.

The last day of Quarter 3 today. It's time to dig out those targets you wrote for Quarter 3 and reflect on how much you have achieved or not! I've achieved 60% of my targets for Quarter 3, that's ok. 100% would be better but there are some targets that ended up not being a focus at the moment. Biggest achievement in Quarter 3 was launching my rebrand, creating a new website and embracing a new focus. How about you? What is your biggest achievement this month? or this Quarter?

Busy week? Absolutely. Overwhelmed? Maybe just a little… But grateful? Always! This week has been nothing short of a whirlwind: ? Editing videos for our client's full rebrand (full working days, back-to-back) ? Brainstorming for a new brief as an independent brand designer (strategizing, sketching logos) ? Securing another client for an exciting design project It’s been busy, and yes, sometimes a bit overwhelming, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. ?? There’s so much more on my to-do list: ? Working on my personal brand ? Building my website ? And tackling a few more passion projects But here’s the thing I've learned—it's okay to take your time. We don’t need to rush through every task or sprint toward every goal. The journey itself is worth savoring. So if you're feeling the pressure, take a deep breath, slow down, and enjoy what you're creating. Trust me—it’s all coming together! How do you manage busy weeks without feeling overwhelmed?
