"Policy Charcha" is looking for dedicated undergraduate volunteers to join our team! ?? About the Role: As a volunteer, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our podcast by conducting research, assisting in content creation, and driving outreach efforts. We believe in the power of diverse voices to shape impactful discussions. Whether you come from different cultural, social, or professional backgrounds — or identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community — we want your unique insights to enrich the conversation on policy trends, social issues, and the matters that shape our world. ?? Key Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Research & Content Development -Conduct in-depth research on various policy issues, current affairs, and upcoming podcast topics. -Assist in preparing episode scripts, briefing notes, and insightful questions for guest interviews. -Curate resources, data, and case studies to enrich podcast content. 2. Social Media & Digital Marketing -Brainstorm creative strategies to engage our online community. -Assist in creating social media posts, infographics, and short videos to promote episodes. -Support in managing social media channels, including scheduling posts and responding to listener comments. 3. Outreach & Community Engagement -Help with outreach to potential guests, collaborators, and influencers in the policy space. -Collaborate on strategies to expand the podcast's reach to a wider audience. -Engage with listeners to gather feedback and build a vibrant community around "Policy Charcha." 4. Podcast Production Support -Assist in editing audio clips, transcribing episodes, and managing episode uploads. -Contribute to the overall production process, ensuring episodes are polished and ready for release. ??
