HLTH USA was big as always with lots of innovation and future talks. Great startups and investment opportunities, BUT... There are various technologies, and some startups are attempting to solve the same problem as everyone else, resulting in no differentiation in the market. In addition, it makes it more difficult to raise cash and grow quickly. On the other side, the success of solving a particular problem has also proven to be tricky due to lack of real-world cases. So what do investors want to see in the coming year? We're very grateful for the MedTalk that was held by Dr. Heiko Visarius last friday on how to successfully create a startup, beginning from a creative idea, and how to find funds to enter the medtech industry. Our engaging and captivating speaker is a well-known leader in medical device technology with a PhD in engineering and an MBA. Throughout his life, he has held leadership positions in global companies like Medtronic and was appointed as an Innosuisse Startup Coach. He is also the Founder and Managing Director of VISARTIS Healthcare GmbH. During the MedTalk, Dr. Visarius focused on topics such as the importance of understanding global trends in the healthcare and medtech industry, not only for students and individuals interested in creating their own startup, but also for existing companies. A company's reaction to trends like global aging and increased demands for prolonged quality of life is decisive for their success in the global market. Dr. Visarius shared his personal opinions on how to create a successful and smart startup and what to avoid in order to prevent your idea from failing due to a lack of understanding of the market.
