A complex bridge structure at the two-story Seattle Metro Logistics warehouse project in South Seattle is nearing completion. Semi-trucks arriving on-site will reach the upper-level loading dock via an earthen ramp and concrete bridge structure.?The bridge has complex geometry, with a design that includes compound slopes and angles, along with camber in the beams and girders. Crews from Crutcher Structures formed this bridge using 132 mega-shore towers ranging from 20-31 feet tall.?Crews from Pacific Steel Group placed 170 tons of reinforcing bar on top of the formwork before we covered it all in 832 cubic yards of concrete. Developed by Trammell Crow Company, Seattle Metro Logistics will be just the region’s second multistory warehouse when work wraps up this summer at the Port of Seattle's Terminal 106.
