It’s time for you to get fed up with the enemy’s tormenting lies and show him who you really are. You are a child of God who is full of the Word of God. Get your words going in the right direction. Ephesians 4 v 29 says, "Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up..." You can’t talk negative and have a positive life. You can’t talk defeat and live victoriously. You can’t talk lack and have abundance. Your words are setting the course for your future. If you want to know what you’re going to be like five years from now, listen to what you’re saying about yourself. “I can’t accomplish my dreams; I don’t have the connections. I’ll never get well; the medical report’s not improving. I’ll never break this addiction, never meet the right person, my children will never get back on course.” If you have a negative mouth, you’re going to have a negative life. Quit speaking defeat over your future. Your blessings will far outweigh the battle you are going through. Don’t give up. God will cause you to be victorious, in the name of Jesus. Have a positive Saturday in Christ. ????

Daily Vitamin Compassion — “If you lend money to those you expect to receive a return from, then what’s grace got to do with it - sinners do the same. What I am talking about is a life of total contrast. There is no ways that a life ruled by religious legalism can match this. For starters, love your enemies. Do good and lend to those where there is no chance they’ll pay you back. Tapping into heavenly dimension-realities beats living by the rules of the earthly realm of personal performance by far. Your sonship-likeness, is mirrored in the Most High; He is your Source. He is kindness in person, to the un-christlike and to those trapped in the typical lifestyle of hardships labors and annoyances. He embarrasses us with His generosity when we least expect it and are at our worst. Mirror your Father’s compassion.” (Luke 6:34-36, The Mirror Bible) What more can be said? We are to imitate Dady God in all we do! Whether that be lending money, forgiving, or just being there for someone. People get trapped in the circles of life. They need someone to show them compassion so they can get off the hamster wheel of life. When we love on people, whether believers or not-yet-believers, that shows them a different way to succeed in life. Let’s let our compassion be just like the compassion of Daddy God, Jesus and Holy Spirit! Be a Blessing, Sir Gregory #RenaissancePeople #KingdomBrewing #UnleashingTheKingdom

Embrace Peace, Let Go of Worry: Discovering Jesus’ Path to Serenity ???? In Matthew 6, Jesus addresses a familiar struggle: the anxiety over life's essentials—our jobs, clothes, and food. He recognizes how worry can easily consume us, despite having seen God’s provision time and again. This battle between faith and fear is part of our human complexity, often leading us into doubt. Jesus offers a transformative solution in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." This isn’t just about God meeting our material needs but a profound invitation to realign our priorities towards God’s kingdom and righteousness. Such alignment not only assures us of our earthly necessities but also fills us with peace and certainty that rise above our worldly worries. Moreover, Jesus' counsel to not worry transcends material concerns, addressing deeper emotional struggles like fear and despair. He encourages us to focus on pursuing God’s kingdom and righteousness, shifting our gaze from our problems to His power and presence. Through prayer, we’re reminded to lay our anxieties before God, reaffirming our faith in His provision and healing. This passage, Matthew 6:25-34, serves as a gentle yet powerful reminder: life is more than our immediate concerns. By observing the care God extends to creation, we’re assured of our worth and His care for us. Jesus calls us to faith over fear, urging us to trust in God’s knowing of our needs before we even ask. As we prioritize God's kingdom, we find that our earthly needs are met, freeing us from the weight of worry. Let’s walk in this assurance today, seeking God’s kingdom first and finding in it our heart’s true peace. #TrustInGod #SeekFirstTheKingdom #PeaceOverWorry #Matthew6 Watch the replay or read the blog: https://lnkd.in/di7ftzwJ

A true rest from anxiety Releasing worry to the king of Heaven #Children’sMinistry #YouthMinistry #FamilyMinistry #ParentMinistry The Messiah asked a question in the gospels, who among you can add one thing to your life via worry? Just in case you missed the answer worry solved nothing. Anxiety is a form of worry, which also assign fear. The word also said, be anxious for nothing, but in all things in prayer and supplication, let your request be known to God who will answer Your prayers. I’ve heard it once said that fear is the anticipation of faith. And other words if you are anxious and constantly worrying, it is faith and action for what you fear. I heard a message recently that talked about Johb and how the way he kept sacrificing on behalf of your children just in case They did something that would lead to their destruction was actually showing into fear than sewing into faith, which is what allowed the enemy to do things in his life and his world that wouldn’t otherwise have been done because he was allowing his fear to guide him rather than his faith. I think this is a very important principle for all of us to pay attention to if fear and powered the enemy, how much more does faith and power, our God to do for us in us and through us all of the things that aligned with his will for our lives. Therefore I challenge you during this period of rest this weekend begin to talk to the Holy Spirit about the thing that you fear ask him to show you the things that you fear and that you were anxious about and then ask him to show you how to pray into those things with faith so that you can begin to nullify however, the enemy want to use your feet against you. Something to think about as you rest. Take a rest from anxiety and let the Holy Spirit show you how to overcome your fear with faith have a great weekend

Join me as I seek help at the Adversity clinic! Today, I too need words of hope and affirmation. "Adversity is like a strong wind. It tears away from us all but the things that cannot be torn, so that we see ourselves as we really are." — Arthur Golden Until adversity hits, you may never know what is stored inside of you that cannot be torn apart. This quote makes sense to me now more than ever. Today, as we lay my brother John Birungi Babirukamu, MCIM to rest after his tragic end, I have two options: to fall apart or to draw strength from my own quotes and posts. Today, I realized that a lot has been torn by the pain and grief, but the truth of God's word stored inside of me remains unscathed. The Bible says, "O death, where is your sting?" I also challenge death and the untimely and painful manner in which my brother was yanked away from us. I will still look to the Lord for strength and resilience to bounce back from this too! I am certain that nothing can separate me from the love of God. Can trouble, hardship, danger, or death? My strength at this time is only drawn from the abundance of the word of God that I have believed over the years. I must make sense of it and speak it back to myself to carry me through this period. I am certain that there is hope at the end of this very dark tunnel. Have a victorious week! #Resilience #StrengthInAdversity #Faith #GodsWord #OvercomingGrief #LoveAndLoss #InnerStrength

Uniting Ourselves to Jesus The other day when I wrote about pain ("Are you in pain?"), I talked about how we can connect to Jesus on the cross by offering up our pain. You will recall me talking about how he suffered on our behalf and that is something we, too, can do for others. There are other ways that we can connect in this spiritual way to Jesus, as well. When adult children disconnect from their parents, no matter the reason, parents might want to consider this as another avenue to connect to the Father. Every day, God our Father, whose unlimited love for us is constant, must also experience (to put it in human terms) the pain of losing his children, whenever we ignore, reject, or deny his very existence. Consider how he responds to us when we do that. He doesn't walk away, he waits.?With unconditional love, he waits for us to open our eyes, and our heart, and return to him.?When we do return (however long it might take), he is there, ready to pour out his love and forgiveness. In this same way, we can, in imitation of the Father, respond to others whenever we are ignored or rejected. Yes, it hurts at the time, but there is always hope that reconciliation is possible, even in the toughest of circumstances. To put a finer point on it, hopefully thinking along these lines, you might want to reflect on your own relationship with God, our Father, and see if your behavior towards him is in need of any improvement. If the rope connecting you to the Father, or others, is fraying, never give up hope.?As long as we are alive, there is potential for the bonds of love to strengthen it. Good Morning! Friday, April 5, 2024 "The Antidote to Anxiety: Prayerful Trust" Philippians 4:6a offers a timeless remedy to a common human ailment: "Do not be anxious about anything." In a world brimming with uncertainties and challenges, this directive from Paul is both profound and practical. It's not merely an encouragement but a command that strikes at the heart of our daily struggles with worry and fear. Anxiety, in its many forms, can immobilize us, cloud our judgment, and lead us down a path of despair. Yet, the Word of God cuts through this fog of fear, offering a clear solution—trust in the Lord. This scripture isn't suggesting that we will never face situations that could provoke anxiety; rather, it's providing us with a way to confront and overcome these feelings through a posture of prayerful trust in God. Embracing this call to eschew anxiety doesn't imply a denial of reality or the complexities of life. Instead, it's about redirecting our focus from our circumstances to the One who holds all circumstances in His hands. It's about understanding that our peace doesn't come from perfect situations but from placing our trust in the perfect God. This verse challenges us to evaluate where we place our trust when storms arise. Are we leaning on our own understanding, or are we casting our cares upon the Lord, confident in His sovereignty and goodness? The antidote to anxiety is found in the deliberate act of surrendering our worries to God, choosing to believe that He is in control and that His plans for us are for good. Thought-provoking question: What specific worries do I need to surrender to God today, and how can I cultivate a habit of trusting Him more deeply? Let us pray: Heavenly Father, in a world that often leaves us burdened with anxiety, remind us of the peace that comes from trusting in You. Help us to lay down our worries at Your feet, choosing faith over fear. Strengthen us with the assurance that You are always in control, guiding us through every trial. In Jesus' name, Amen. #MorningManna #dailyinspiration #dailydevotion #TreasureAndTruth
