Oregon Threatens to Revoke Approval of a Mushroom School That Says It’s a Religious Practice https://lnkd.in/gKix2XbJ This caught my eye: "A cottage industry has sprouted in Oregon’s legal market for psilocybin mushrooms: private career schools pumping out hundreds of “facilitators,” who then guide paying customers through intense encounters with psychedelics.?The Oregon Health Authority has approved a whopping 25 of these programs, which charge thousands of dollars in tuition and give graduates a shot at a state license to guide trips." IMHO, if hundreds of lightly educated "trip advisors" are being trained at questionable "career schools", the emerging medical psychedelics industry is starting to look like a de facto commercial recreational psychedelics?industry ... akin to California's "medical" marijuana cooperatives where anyone with any medical malady could get a medical marijuana card. Caveat Emptor: This opinion is based on a quick read of this one article, so I am not adamant about it (yet). I'm entirely open to more information and points of view!
