Want to save FBA costs with the SIPP Programme ? To enrol in the Ships in Product Packaging (SIPP) programme, follow these steps to test your packaging and record the results. Determine Testing Method Self-Test: For non-fragile products without liquids or sharp items, self-testing is possible. ISTA 6 Lab Test: For fragile products or those containing liquids/sharp items, use an ISTA-6 lab. Self-Test Instructions Numbering: Label the package sides (1-6). Drop Testing: Drop the package 17 times from specified heights (46 cm and 92 cm) on different edges, corners, and faces. Flexible Packaging: Perform an additional material strength test with a "Hazard Box" drop test. Third-Party Lab Testing: Submit an ISTA-6A lab report from a certified lab. Evaluate Product and Packaging After Testing Ensure no visible damage, loss of function, or compromised seals. If any damage is present, the product does not qualify for SIPP. Document Results Pre-test photos of all package sides. Post-test photos of the bill of materials, packaging, and product.
