What if our career was a mission field…….To make God Popular. As a grow I realize that as Christians in the corporate world, we’re not just here to make a name or build a career, we’re here to be vessels of God’s grace and truth. Every talent and skill we’ve been given is a deposit, meant to glorify Him. We’re building careers, yes, but more importantly, we’re planting seeds for God’s kingdom. Aligning my goals to God’s plan has really been putting things to perspective So in every meeting, project or goal is an opportunity for you to reflect Christ and draw others towards him. How do you see God using you in your career? #christiansincorporate #careertips

When you become a Christian, your overarching, overriding, life-driving assignment becomes as clear as crystal: You are to love God and to love others. That assignment trumps everything else. No matter what you for for a living, you are working for something different than what the non-Christians around you are working for. Yes, money is important. Yes, advancement in your career can be good. Yes, you want to help your boss, your co-workers or clients and do a good job. But ultimately you are in your job so you learn to love God and other people better. This is your new assignment. 37 And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:37, ESV) #GospelAtWork #faithdrivenentrepreneur #faithdrivenworker

Let the Lord have His way in your Career Let's invite the Lord to guide our careers. Many, myself included, struggle to hold onto jobs we don't enjoy. Remember, you don't owe perfectionism to anyone. The skills you have now are enough. The real problem arises when you're unsure of where you stand or what you offer. Consider this: why go to work every day if you're just going through the motions? Without a clear direction, you might feel lost, like wandering aimlessly for years without progress. Instead, let's seek guidance through prayer. Ask for clarity and trust that God will lead you on the right path. #CareerFaith #TrustGod #ClarityInDirection #Kingdom #CareersCoachingProgram

Why a Career Person Needs God in Their Life. In the fast-paced world of careers and professional growth, it’s crucial to remember that there’s more to life than just our careers. God offers a sense of purpose that goes beyond the corporate ladder, providing strength, wisdom, and peace in the face of challenges. No matter how high we climb or how tough the journey gets, having God in our lives reminds us that we’re not alone in our struggles or triumphs. It’s this divine connection that keeps us balanced, humble, and aligned with a purpose greater than ourselves. In our pursuit of excellence, let’s not forget to seek guidance, strength, and purpose from the One who sees the bigger picture. Our careers are important, but our relationship with God is what truly sustains us. #FaithAndCareer #PurposeDrivenLife #SuccessAndSpirituality #WorkLifeBalance

One day, I found myself standing outside the gates of the Air Force base, holding my bags and having no clue what to do next. I wandered around life for the next 30 years trying to figure out my passion and purpose. But then I realized that God was always there, holding out his hand, waiting for me to come to Him with all my burdens, fears, ideas and thoughts. These days, I ask God every day to help me see where He wants me to be and what He wants me to do. I trust that if God tells me to sell everything I own and move to a new place to pursue a new career, I will follow His guidance. It's important to have an open mind and heart to hear what God is trying to tell us. It could be something big, or it could be a series of smaller events that eventually lead us to our purpose. We all have a need for purpose in life, but what happens when our purpose doesn't align with what God has in store for us? That's when we need to ask ourselves: What is our passion? Have we talked to God to understand what He has in store for us? When we have a clear purpose in hand, it's time to lean in and go with it 110%. Remember, God's plan for us is always greater than we can imagine. Trust in Him and embrace your purpose. #purpose #faith #trustGod

My opinion on God's assessment of a successful career: 1) Find pleasure in the fruits of your labor (motived by healthy, biblical love of self - Ecclesiastes 3:12-13). 2) Provide benefit to someone else through your work (motivated by healthy, biblical love of neighbor - Ephesians 4:28). 3) Glorify and represent God in your labor (motivated by healthy, biblical love of God - Colossians 3:23-24). Note: a) Anyone who follows these biblical ideas can be successful regardless of where they stand on the "corporate ladder." b) My title, income, influence, etc., are important but secondary. Let's keep God's assessment primary.
