The new company site went officially live yesterday AND it has pricing (insert gasp)!! I was SO against packages and pricing on my site for the last year+. What changed my mind? Market research! I found one other company that had so many boundaries in their pricing packages. If you haven't noticed the comparison yet, accountants often sound like attorneys. You will always catch us saying "it depends" because it does. It is hard to carbon copy clients and workloads. If you are another accountant, I am curious if you see what I did ?? It's the final #TaskTacklingTuesday of May!! One big end-of-month task you definitely don't want to neglect is making sure your monthly client invoices are accurate before they get sent on the first! Now we invoice throughout the month for different clients, which is nice for both their and our cash flow, but a good chunk of our invoices go out at the end of the month. And while we automate as many invoices as we can, some of them have variable amounts based on hours worked, sub-projects, etc., so we need to manually ensure these accurately reflect any work done the month before. This is obviously a critical task, since we don't want to charge the wrong amounts to our clients. No one feels very confident if their accountant can't even get their own invoices correct, ya know? ??
