What people think research is: — Googling the keyword and reading the first few articles that pops up. What research actually is - — Knowing exactly what you want to find out. — Understanding what's already there and identifying gaps. — Deciding on methods and making a step-by-step plan. — Conducting surveys, surfing social media, and using tools. — Analyzing your data in context. — Checking all facts and sources for accuracy. — Preparing for unexpected issues, like missing data, and adjusting accordingly. — Sharing the draft and working on feedback. Well - as fellow water-lovers will probably know, January has had its own challenges toward productivity... some crazy good waves! I actually find that surfing really really helps my creative brain. So much stimulation, colour, adrenaline & emotion - kinda gets my mind on overdrive so when I sit down to produce content - it flows (after I've settled down from the buzz...). And 2025 is definitely the year for Organic Content. The key is - no matter your business, construction, property, lifestyle, product - you gotta be making personal, shareable, relatable content. People LOVE connection in today's world. We're CRAVING it. If you need help with that - that's a major part of what I do. Tease out the stories in the every day - and bring on the beautiful visuals too. It's a major passion of mine, and I love working with all the wonderful success stories of local businesses - it inspires me AND I get close up and personal with it too.
