In our work as occupational therapists, we see firsthand how kindness can be transformative—not only for our patients but also within ourselves.
In patient care, kindness builds trust and creates a safe space for individuals to explore their potential and work through challenges. But as therapists, we must also remember to extend that same kindness inward. The demands of our profession requires resilience and compassion, and in doing everything we can to support others, we must take a moment to care for ourselves too.
Let’s continue to approach our work with empathy, patience, and self-compassion—supporting those we care for, and remembering we’re doing our best. Be kind to your patients, be kind to yourself.
Let's take an act of kindness and brighten someone's day.
Be kind ?? to yourself.
Be kind ?? to others.
