Wrapping up an incredible study trip to Silicon Valley with the HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration! Our journey through the heart of innovation was nothing short of inspiring. We had the privilege to visit some of the most influential tech giants and prestigious academic institutions (Stanford University), as well as dynamic startups and visionary founders that truly left a lasting impression. Engaging with startup founders like Christian Byza (Learn.xyz), Philipp Wehn (Nexxa.ai), and Rico Meinl (Retro Biosciences) was incredibly enlightening. Their stories of resilience, passion, and the willingness to take risks provided invaluable lessons for any aspiring entrepreneur. Hearing firsthand about the challenges they overcame and their innovative approaches to problem-solving was both motivating and educational. During our visits to Google, Microsoft and Salesforce, we saw the importance of fostering a culture of creativity and continuous learning. The theme of Artificial Intelligence was pervasive, with advancements poised to revolutionize various industries. This underscored the necessity of staying ahead in this transformative field. Our discussions also highlighted how a strong company culture and a relentless focus on customer success can drive incredible growth and innovation. We saw examples of how integrating cutting-edge technology into traditional sectors can lead to significant industry disruption, especially during our talks with Mercedes-Benz USA and GOLDBECK. A huge thank you to all the companies and individuals who took the time to share their knowledge and experiences with us. This trip has fueled my ambition and reinforced my commitment to making a significant impact in the world of business and technology. Day 3 at GEC+ Puerto Rico ???? ??On July 17th, 2024, ConnexionWorks attended six sessions, including general, specific, and a certified workshop, covering a range of topics from building healthier ecosystems to supporting founders and smart startup policymaking. Key initiatives like Global Entrepreneurship Week, GEN Invest, and the Entrepreneurship World Cup aim to foster collaboration, provide timely capital, and offer robust support to entrepreneurs. A highlight was the session on AI, small businesses, and entrepreneurship policy. Discussions focused on AI's role in boosting productivity, the importance of ethics in AI education, and effective adoption strategies with insights from Google. AI's potential as an assistant, amplifier, and autonomous tool was emphasized, along with its benefits in registration, banking services, and personalized customer service.
