Painting on scars… It’s not easy for me… Blending them in… the feeling… all to real. Scars tell stories…. Some are visible—a jagged line, a faded mark, a patch of rough skin. Others are invisible—etched into the mind, carved into the heart…. …but all scars, whether seen or unseen, are the proof of a warrior’s journey. A warrior doesn’t live a life without wounds. To fight for something—whether it’s your family, your vision, or the human you know you’re capable of becoming—is to expose yourself to pain. You’ll face resistance… You’ll take blows… You’ll fail, fall, and break…. the truth of it all… scars are not signs of weakness. Scars are signs of strength. Every scar says, I survived. It says, I endured the battle and lived to fight again. It’s a reminder of the price you’ve paid to become the damn warrior you are today. It’s evidence that you’ve dared to stand up, take risks, and fight for something greater than yourself….. …and with each scar comes wisdom… You learn when to strike and when to stand firm. You learn what you’re truly capable of—and what really matters in the end. Scars may humble us, but they also sharpen us like you wouldn’t believe. They prepare us for BIGGER giants to come. So, wear em with pride… Own em… Show those f????????kers off… …why? Cuz … it let’s those obstacles that challenge you… know just exactly who TF you are and what you are made of. ???? As always - stay strong, stay hungry, just do and give no quarter?? ???????? #warriormindset #mentalhealth #leadership
Excellent. Here’s an excerpt from my upcoming book (I know a cheap plug). “But the Dhahran Rugby Club (Saudi Arabia) practiced in much different conditions. The hard, sand-brown, dirt field of North Camp was nothing like the green, manicured fields I had played on in college. Certainly not like any of the diligently kept, crisply lined fields the NFL plays on. When we wanted to practice in North Camp or start a match, we would have to walk the length of the field and remove large rocks from the playing area. Even still, it was impossible to remove them all. We all had the scars to prove it. That’s okay. Because for most people, when their environment is uncomfortable, they don’t get on the field. They don’t even try. Even the slightest bit of intolerance, and they’re back on the sideline. But what they don’t consider is that the sideline costs more in the long run. They don’t realize that they will suffer the pain of regret, which can be much more agonizing than picking pebbles out of a skinned knee.”

Scars tell a story, both those we see and those we don’t. Well said Trevor M.. As do laugh lines (aka wrinkles) for those of us of older vintages. Hey man, I just checked out your Patreon account. Cool stuff. Trevor it looks like you are using a tablet and digital pen. Am I right? Do you use a pencil and paper too or a combo for those creations? I’m curious how they differ
Amen! While all scars are not visible to the naked eye, I celebrate them all!
