How many job descriptions have you come across lately that blend multiple roles? Executive Assistant, but also Sales Coordinator? Operations expert, add in to manage programs? Not saying this is a bad thing but it’s a title and everyone is so focused on what’s someone’s history. So why is everyone so focused on titles, and hesitant to embrace versatility and cross-functional collaboration? Need someone to grow your company operations? Help train or recruit? Add new processes, fix sales or program issues, or improve customer success and program member happiness? Been there, done that. I’m in and I’ll help do it all! Count me in for the "self-starter" role. The "go-getter" who dives in, no matter the department, to ensure success across the board. That’s the role I’m excited to take on! Why is being a generalist or good at multiple things a bad thing? I see those people as who I would hire.
