Hello everyone! I am very excited to share with you my first ever first-author paper that was published today in the European Respiratory Journal. https://lnkd.in/gvazUNmw Here, we describe a novel approach to deplete natural killer cells, which are implicated in the pathogenesis of pulmonary IRI. We show that CD94 is abundant on mouse and human NK cells, and that a mAb against CD94 efficiently depletes >50% of lung NK cells in the mouse. In mouse and human experimental models, we find that CD94 depletion is effective at reducing lung injury and airway epithelial cell killing, respectively. These findings suggest that incorporating anti-CD94 treatment in lung transplant induction regimens may improve early clinical outcomes.

The latest development, Survodutide, a glucagon/GLP-1 dual receptor agonist, is showing promising results for treating metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), an updated term for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
