Our customers are becoming increasingly driven by their commitment to sustainability. This responsibility is increasingly being shared with us as their supplier. In other words, we are more frequently asked: "How can you help us?" Often, our customers' waste streams are collected as a single batch by one contractor. However, the risk is that leftover pieces of aluminum end up in this large pile. When this pile is incinerated, the thin aluminum is either lost or becomes heavily contaminated. This is unfortunate, as it makes the material suitable only for downcycling. The goal is to keep as much high-quality material in the recycling loop as possible. Here in Vaassen, we ensure this happens, in collaboration with Roba Metals, a specialized company with sophisticated processes. They know exactly what scrap aluminum to put into the smelter. They optimize the composition and process, producing high-quality aluminum as the end product. This aluminum is then used in factories that produce aluminum rolls.
