Training & development of teams and more especially team leaders is crucial for the growth of a company. Of the many programs I've been fortunate to be a part of, by far the best was "Investment in Excellence" through the Pacific Learning Institute...

Training doesn’t stick…..unless… People actually get to practice the concepts in real time and get coaching to change behavior. After sitting through handfuls of training and attending conferences where people spoke at me - I often left inspired but with very little behavior change. This is why when I work with teams in person I follow this rule: ?Introduce a concept ?Have everyone workshop it in pairs or groups ?Share what they learned ?Reward participation ?Reinforce after the dust settles According to one participant from the latest team I worked with…. “Celeste led the most inspiring and engaging training I have ever participated in”. Pictured below are the top two “chip” winners from a team training - Caleb Rice and Gabriela Gentile - meaning they went full blown competition style to participate and win the most engaged. Before you hire someone to train - vet their style before investing…as we want to see behaviors and metrics move vs. checking a box, right?
