Here’s another project I’ve been working on that has potential, an interactive map of architectural landmarks. Both when I was an architecture student and as a licensed architect, I often wanted an easier way to find landmark buildings by location, style, or type. This would’ve been especially useful while traveling, as I love discovering modern and historical buildings nearby. It’s still very basic, but that’s what I try to solve with https://lnkd.in/d8qGiMv4 It’s still in the early stages with a small database of 100 buildings, and I’m working on verifying some of the coordinates, but it’s a good start! ?? Ksenia Toloknova wrote this excellent article breaking down the different mobile navigation patterns. I urge you to read it if you design mobile applications or have your own! → Tab Bar / Navigation bar Easy to access, simple, and clear but offers only a very limited space → Sidebars / Navigation drawers Offers (potentially) unlimited space for items, which also means optionally a larger font. It also provides more flexible design options.
