But you have to find the balance between nudging things forward while also validating that people feel bad about the current situation.” “You can drive through pity city, but you can’t stay there.” On this week’s episode of 92,000 Hours, Sarah DeMark, Ph.D. – Vice Provost for Workforce Intelligence and Credential Integrity at Western Governor’s University –?talks with us about optimism. She breaks down the difference between optimism and positivity and talks about the difference optimism makes on teams and at home. And we're (almost) back! Just a few more days - 4 to be precise - until Season 7 of our favorite podcast starts again. And we have some changes in the format for you - we are adding video to the show, bringing what we learned from the "What's Your Baseline? Shorts" to the main show, and also try to be a bit shorter with 45 minutes, so that there is not that "big commitment" to make when you see the episode length in your podcast player. Otherwise we kept the good things: interesting guests, lively conversations, interesting and sometimes a bit "off" topics, but all relevant for our audience - the practitioners in EA and BPM groups! So, tune in next Monday to listen or watch the first episode of the new Season! #businessprocessmanagement #enterprisearchitecture J-M Erlendson Eva Schreyer AMY LEVINE Michael T. Brian R.
