Especially if you don’t want to list your job duties / accomplishments under each of your jobs. This helps recruiters when sourcing on the Recruiting side of LinkedIn. In your summary tell me about what you do. Help me find you! A couple of examples that immediately come to mind: If you are a attorney put the type of work you do (IE: Litigation - product liabaility / personal injury / etc.) If you are a Operations Leader - tell me about your Operations experience in more detail (Manage a region that spans TX, NM, CO, ID while leading a team of x, with full P&L responsibility and expertise in increasing profitability and improving Operational efficiency using Lean methodologies)

As we track the 2024 logistics hiring market, here's a few trends we're finding... - #Sales talent remains in high demand for most #freightforwarders - California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Michigan, Ohio, and Tennessee/Alabama are particularly hot - Sales experience in healthcare, medical, tech, and semiconductor verticals are highly valued in All US markets - Account Mgmt, Leadership, and Operations opportunities remain more limited than Sales - However they are sharply trending up from last year, and our southeastern US states seem to be leading the demand - Some forwarders and brokers report seeing volume growth now in Q2, while a majority expect their volumes to return circa Q3 Overall, I see two of the top ten forwarders playing true offense right now. They win consistently because they train & execute consistently. Their efforts will snowball, and the results of their investments will only set them further ahead over the coming years. Our primary job in #Operations is to ensure that the Sales Team is supported to do what they do: ?? Making commitments to Retailers ?? Opening new doors/channels ?? Adding facings/shelf space ?? Growing the business But this responsibility does go both ways: It is critical for the Sales Team to communicate goals, targets, opportunities and risks to the Ops Team - as soon as possible. When this space works- it's pretty freaking spectacular. When it doesn't- welcome to the world of finger pointing and endless root cause meetings and analysis. Fun fun fun.
