This may be my most controversial post to date I actually think that doing unpaid work is a good idea ?? ? But there’s a catch Because I don’t believe in doing unpaid work where you labor for someone else just for the vague promise that having some experience on your CV will eventually lead to a paid job. As an unpaid intern you won’t anyway be allowed to touch impactful projects that would significantly grow your skills & employability. ?? Instead, what I do believe in is doing free work that will increase your desirability in the job market. ?? Basically working for free FOR YOURSELF. What do I mean by that? ?? Go through the carousel for practical examples. These will be absolute game changers for your career and shoot you way above the crowd!?
