Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to experience both ends of the spectrum: from near-empty cruises to witnessing the resurgence of full-capacity voyages as travel companies eagerly reintroduced their services post-COVID. Thanks to the industry's push to involve travel agents, I was fortunate to embark on one of these cruises for free. As an economics enthusiast, I find it fascinating to observe how companies like Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line have not only navigated through challenging times but have emerged as top performers on the S&P 500 in Q2 of 2023.
