The map shows the community groups and organisations within Somerset who open their space as a warm hub to help people during the winter months. It is always great seeing churches positively impacting our communities. ???? Churches have always been cornerstones of community support, offering resources and a sense of belonging to those in need. A prime example is KINGSWAY INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN CENTRE Noah’s Ark initiative, which includes a community kitchen providing meals for those in need, a Food Bank that supplies essentials to families facing food insecurity, and Elderly and Care Home Support programs that offer companionship and practical assistance to isolated seniors. Special holiday programs also bring joy and relief to families, ensuring no one is left out during festive seasons. The Social Impact Fund aims to support and expand these vital services.
