It’s how apps save data, retrieve information, and run smoothly. ?? REST (Representational State Transfer) – Apps talk to servers to send and receive data. ?? Example: When you check the weather app, your phone requests the latest forecast, and the server responds with the info. ?? CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) – The basic actions apps perform with data. ?? Example: Refreshing your weather app? The app reads new data, updates your screen, and deletes the old forecast. ?? Express API – The “bridge” connecting your app to the data it needs. ?? Example: Your weather app requests data through an API, which fetches the forecast from a database. ?? Local Storage – Saves small amounts of data on your device, so the last weather report stays visible even when you close the app!
