Last year, I hit two major milestones: Chairman’s Club and Rookie of the Year at Zynex Medical! I’m beyond grateful for the incredible support from my colleagues, fellow medical sales professionals who’ve become friends, providers & their staff, mutual patients, & mentors. You know who you are! ?? I am so excited for what's to come this year. ?? Want to know the real story behind the achievement — this wasn't easy… Behind those titles was a year of grit, rejection, long nights, and sacrifices. I was navigating my first full year in medical sales while trying to conceive, saving for a new home, and working to grow professionally by getting more involved & building relationships in an industry that requires both your time and heart. The truth? Sales don’t show up unless you do. Every “yes” was earned after facing farrrrrr more “no’s.” For every rejection, I had to dig deeper, push harder, and stay consistent - even when the odds seemed stacked against me. These achievements didn’t come from perfect pitches — they came from stumbles and falls, relentless persistence, building trust, and showing up for myself and my family every single day, even when it felt impossible. The one thing that is most important to remember is this job is about more than “the sale”; it’s about the outcomes, relationships, your word, & the work invested. Remember your why day in and day out! To anyone thinking of quitting: Keep going. Stay focused, trust the process, and remember that hard work will always pay off. We are all going through things both personally and professionally don’t let that stop you from reaching for the stars. ?? Justin began his career with Arthrex in Grand Junction in 2015, transitioning from his role as a trauma and joint representative at Smith & Nephew. After five years of impactful contributions, Justin embraced a new opportunity within Arthrex, further elevating his role and influence. Learn more about him below. What drew you to join Alliance Medical? Bryson and the NMCO team! What has been your career path leading up to your current role? I was initially a trauma/joints rep for Smith&Nephew, but then I started selling Sports Medicine in GJ. After 5 years, Arthrex gave me a better opportunity, and I took it. I have been in my current role since then. What’s one accomplishment at Alliance Medical that you're particularly proud of? Hitting Quota! Also, I was a part of a team that won Territory of the Year in 2023. How would you describe the team culture at Alliance Medical? Everyone works hard and contributes their own weight. This is a very unselfish team, and everyone is willing to jump in and do whatever it takes to help out! What's one piece of advice you’d give to someone starting out in sales? Study! Don't quit. Remember that mistakes are the most excellent teachers! And ask for the business! What's one interesting fact about you that your colleagues might not know? I used to build traditional longbows as a hobby. What do you like to do in your spare time? I hunt, fly fish, float rivers, ride mountain bikes, and shoot my bow. What’s the best advice you’ve received about sales or life? Sales- work hard, ask for the business, don’t give up, try to be better than the day before. 7 years ago, I opened my first medspa in a tiny room. Zero clients. 3 years later: 12 locations, 50+ employees, and $13M annual revenue. Sounds like a dream, right? Not exactly. Our expansion was a whirlwind of opportunity and chaos. How it happened: 1. Ohio: Our first location. Makes sense. 2. New York: I’m from there. Still logical. 3. Florida: Our top injector moved there. Why not follow? 4. Minnesota & Wisconsin: A guy wanted to sell 5-6 locations. We said yes without even looking at a map. Result? I spent my last year practically living on planes. If I could do it all over again, here’s the ONE thing I’d change: Concentric circles. Expand to locations within driving distance of each other. Build a strong regional presence before national expansion. Why? - Easier oversight - Shared resources - Stronger brand presence - Less travel burnout The lesson? Explosive growth isn’t always smart. Last week on the Race Track I had the pleasure of meeting with the New Jersey Team. When in a race, especially in a team, you must be focused, fast and work together. Although racing against one another was fun, the message was clear. ?? #Focused: Our ultimate goal is to save more lives, and to achieve this, we must remain laser focused. What a great time at the New York eye bank disco event. Honestly this is what medical sales is all about. At the end of the day we hit quotas, make good money, and significantly improve surgeons cases and outcomes. But at the end of the day it really comes down to the patient. Without improving their outcomes, procedures, post op care, etc. how would we even have a job? If you keep all of those things in the front of your mind, I promise you will hit quota. Just focus on how can I serve my doctors and their patients. If you come into play in either or, Or both, I promise you will exceed quota, yearly, 2 cents from someone working 7+ years for some of the biggest companies Stryker Smith+Nephew KARL STORZ United States #medicalsales

It's great to not just understand and believe that the product you're building is driving transformation in the healthcare industry in general, but to see it in real-life examples from your customers.

An interesting one. Rules are rules but I scoffed somewhat at the campaigning group's line insisting that the contracts must be served their termination notices. We're talking about a group of several dozen practices here, not one or two sites. Who takes them over if their contracts are terminated?
