The more advanced way to look at this challenge would be to look beyond male and female. We also need to look at personality type. At the moment a great percentage of those that achieve senior ranks whether male or female are target and standard focused with reputation and credibility sensitivity . That means they don’t focus on taking the people with them. The function of leading is therefore compromised as what they do well needs to be balanced with the skills of taking the people with you and introducing new ideas. In leadership you have to be people focused .(General Colin Powell and many others who understand what leadership is). The male and female thing is completely misleading. The targets in diversity, morally right of course, but also need to be linked to the outcome we seek, a balanced, efficient, unified organisarion.. You will notice there will always be adversity . However when in balance you can be unaffected, because the structure is strong and you have confidence in it. College of Policing .

Today, our Managing Director, Fred W. Meyer, MA, CJM, CCHP, led an impactful session at the AJA’s Elevating Leadership Skills Summit for Jail Professionals, titled?"Interdisciplinary Leadership: Preventing In-Custody Deaths."?The key takeaway? Working in silos doesn’t foster high-quality care— in fact, it can lead to adverse outcomes. At NCCHC Resources, we believe in the power of collaboration. Our team of consultants includes a wide range of experts—doctors, nurses, psychologists, security specialists, and data analysts—because every discipline deserves a seat at the table when addressing complex issues in correctional health care. By breaking down silos and embracing interdisciplinary teamwork, we can better support safe and healthy environments for those in custody.
