‘Tis the season for year-end giving campaigns and year-in-review reports! ?? As we craft narratives to inspire and connect audiences with a mission, it’s essential to remember the power of data. ?? While an emotional story captures attention, data-based storytelling connects donors and stakeholders to tangible results, turning generosity into impact. Working with the Day By Day Shelter, we used data to build a meal campaign that shows exactly how donations have an impact. We organized data to show donors how their gifts provide fresh, nutritious meals—$5 at a time. Collecting and organizing data takes time, but it’s worth it.
