Find that remarkable feature that sets you or your brand apart from everyone else and run with it. ?? Craft matters - Sure, Walter could have lowered his standards and made a lower quality product but he took immense pride in his craft. R?zvan Dinc? & Asocia?ii successfully defended FC Rapid 1923 in preliminary injunction proceedings related to the use of advertising boards placed in areas adjacent to the football field. A preliminary injunction was sought against Rapid Bucharest, alleging infringement of national registered design rights related to advertising boards used on stadiums and sports fields. The defense touched upon several points of interest pertaining both to preliminary injunction proceedings in general, as well as to design rights in particular. Some of the main arguments were directed towards the (now recognized by the case-law) relevance of invalidity challenges in IP related preliminary injunction proceedings and the need for the claimant to be able to prove to a satisfactory degree the urgency of the measures sought. Another interesting point that was addressed, albeit within the confines of preliminary proceedings, was the issue of the design’s scope of protection, including its relation with the functional elements of the design. Our team consisted of Irina Speciac, Vlad St?nese, Ionut Cofaru, and Cristian Cealera.

And while there are many unsung superheroes behind our Big Game spot this year, Lane Verlenden is the story behind the story behind the story that powers the possible. The truth is, moving at the speed of culture is the path of most resistance. While equal parts exhilarating and exhausting, working at breakneck speed, a.k.a. e.l.f. speed, requires intense collaboration and lock step alignment with a myriad of moving pieces and parts. All heavy loads to carry. Every time I step on set for the moment of truth (the actual shoot), without fail, from agency partners to agents to directors to cast members, everyone speaks with amazement of Lane Verlenden and the seemingly impossible speed with which he navigates the complex legal process, carrying many flaming hot potatoes across the finish line with the appearance of relative ease. Last year we created and completed our Big Game spot in the span of 3 weeks and made his job somewhat simpler by handing him a single contract with a single star in Jennifer Coolidge. This year we upped the anti and served him an ensemble cast of stars with a stack of contracts to navigate and negotiate with nuances galore. I was sweating (and swearing) just thinking about what we were asking him to actually do ?? Oh yeah, and Lane, please write your own contract because we would like you to be in the spot too ?? Because, why the e.l.f. not ! I have been working with Lane for years now and he consistently amazes me. I light up with joy every time his name is mentioned behind the scenes for his Herculean efforts the likes of which no agents or agencies have ever seen. Brazil: Governors challenge Sports Betting Law at Supreme Court https://lnkd.in/gtYYyE6U (Brasilia).- The lawsuit is motivated by modifications in the regulation concerning cross-state operations in more than one state and the exploitation of advertising. Governors from six states and the Federal District are challenging changes to the new Sports Betting Law (Law 14.790/2023) at the Federal Supreme Court (STF).
