Vermont Green FC is delighted to announce our partnership with Ceres Collaborative, a local cannabis dispensary that shares our commitment to environmental justice through criminal justice reform advocacy. Not only are Ceres aligned with our mission goals, but they also develop wonderful products, including a CBD Salve and “Vermont Greens”, a restorative blend sold in pre-roll 3-packs. 1% of all sales will be donated to Last Prisoner Project to help fight for cannabis prisoners’ freedoms. We're eager to use this partnership as an opportunity to ignite more meaningful conversations about cannabis in sports. In the sports industry specifically, we believe an openness around the topic can help destigmatize its use by athletes. We know that cannabis products have numerous clean and safe benefits for the physical and mental well-being of athletes, and they should have the ability to utilize these benefits without risking their careers. Community is a term that gets thrown around a lot in #cannabis What does that even mean? ??? Peace and Progress in the Cannabis Industry! ??? I recently came across this fantastic initiative by Michael Serrano, who is connecting young professionals of color with leading farms and processors in NY to bridge the opportunity gap in our industry. This is such an important step towards inclusivity and equity in cannabis! ?? Why does this matter? For starters ? The legal cannabis industry generated $25 billion in sales in 2021 and is projected to hit $45.9 billion by 2025 l ? Despite the industry’s growth, racial disparities remain stark. Only 19% of cannabis business owners are racial minorities ? Women and racial minorities hold just 12.1% of executive positions in the cannabis industry, a decrease from previous years It’s essential for us to push for more diversity in all aspects of this field—from retail and cultivation to research and medical use. By doing so, we ensure that everyone has the opportunity to contribute, innovate, and benefit from this rapidly evolving industry. ?? ?? Thinking about leaving the cannabis industry? Find some inspiration from the lone wolf. I've had this conversation many times over the past several months with people who are burnt out and tired, but determined to stay loyal to cannabis. Universally, I tell them to leave the cannabis pack and stay true to their mission. Let me tell you more about the lone wolf, they aren’t who you they think they are. A couple of years ago, I was labelled with the lone wolf archetype during a job interview. Initially, I took the label with some pride, assuming it meant I had values of self-sufficiency and non-conformity. However, it also irked me a bit, as I assumed some connotations that I don’t play nice with others. So I dug deeper into what the lone wolf does in nature. Lone wolves play a crucial part in maintaining genetic diversity within wolf populations. For instance, genetic detective work has revealed that a lone wolf from Finland significantly contributed to the genetic diversity of the only pack of Swedish wolves, which was facing grave inbreeding and probable extinction. Moreover, the natural process of dispersal, where individual wolves leave their packs to find new territories and mates, is essential for preventing inbreeding within packs and expanding the range of wolf territories. I've left several cannabis companies, all of them I think are in a better place because of my contributions. I try to stay friendly with the leaders still at those companies because of what they created for my career as well. What’s the takeaway from this post? The lone wolf cares deeply and sacrifices for the pack, leaving behind the comforts of home. You can quit the cannabis industry. You don’t have to quit being a friend and advocate. Sometimes the best thing to do to advance the mission is to exit the echo chamber and find new mates. Hope this helps someone who is tired of the non-sensical regulations and bills not getting paid. Go forward and disperse your genes and grow your family of like minded people.

**Minnesota Cannabis Legalized in May 2023** Yet, over a year later, the situation is dire: **No grow facilities** **No testing labs** **No dispensaries** **No distribution** **No licenses issued** **No rules and regulations** **Reduced hemp potencies** Instead, we have: * A prevalent black market *Out-of-state weed flooding in *Little to no response from the Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) on critical issues** *OCM staff with zero cannabis industry background** *OCM leadership, previously deceived by non-profit fraudsters, now guiding this sector *Default advisors who are lobbyists and political operatives** Will tribes and medical be the only game in town? With projected licenses finally expected in spring 2025, one has to wonder: What could possibly go wrong?

Life as a cannabis farm sales rep in Seattle: call a client multiple times for days to check on inventory with no responses.
