Large scale ransomware attacks, especially against critical infrastructure like hospitals or the energy sector, pose a threat to national security, to citizens’ everyday lives and to our joint prosperity.?Since four years, close to 70 countries have banded together to disrupt the criminal ransomware ecosystem, build collective resilience and foster cooperation between governments and with the private sector. ???? Germany is committed to holding ransomware actors accountable in order to preserve a peaceful, open, secure?and?stable cyberspace.
