Diversity in clinical trials isn’t just a goal—it’s a necessity for advancing health outcomes. When clinical trials include people from diverse backgrounds, we gain insights that make treatments more effective and safer for all. Underrepresented communities often respond differently to treatments, meaning that inclusive trials produce more accurate, generalizable results. By broadening participation, we move closer to a healthcare system that truly serves everyone. Let’s champion diversity in clinical research to build a healthier future for all. #ClinicalTrials #HealthEquity #DiversityInResearch

Question: Why is CEAL bringing research to primary care settings? Answer: To reach people who are often left out of clinical research. The Network for Community-Engaged Primary Care Research (NCPCR) uses data from community health centers (CHCs) that provide primary care to patients often left out of clinical research opportunities. Through partnerships with 26 different CHCs, NCPCR identifies and supports patients with chronic diseases to address social determinants of health.
