Our latest projects in Donegal have created healthy, future-proofed learning environments for children and young people in buildings that are highly functional yet sympathetic to the beauty of their surroundings. ??This is why we do what we do?? Providing modern, warm, learning environments for children to thrive is our role, and to deliver buildings of the highest quality, on time and within budget is our responsibility ? MILFORD: Just last week, children moved into a specialist SEN building that was manufactured and installed by our team in Milford’s Scoil Mhuire. Low carbon in-operation, the new block stretches over 270sqm, offering a bespoke space for children with additional needs.? ? MOVILLE: 80 kilometers away in northeast Donegal, Moville Community College is now benefitting from an additional 230 sqm modular classroom block designed and manufactured by the team at Mac Zero.?Situated on scenic North East Inishowen, the modular building was finished with flashes of blue hues, inspired by the adjacent Lough Foyle. ? Principal of Moville Community College, Caroline Doherty, adds: "I am delighted with the completion of the standalone classroom block Mac Zero delivered for our school in just over four months. This funding will support the Green Rural Opportunity Workforce Network (GROWN), connecting 5,000 students in rural Western Colorado to valuable green job opportunities through education and training over the next three years. With continually rising global temperatures, recognising the implications climate change has on our environment, health, and social and economic stability is increasingly urgent. And knowing how to combat this can be overwhelming, but guided by our highly knowledgeable tutors, our participants learn about the actions we can take to help lower our carbon footprint, from changing simple daily habits to carrying out energy-efficient home renovations. ? In partnership with the New York Power Authority, we are excited to announce a $1.055 million grant to support New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) residents as they enter the #cleanenergy workforce. ??

?? We’re thrilled that the Oregon Clean Energy Workforce Coalition, is among the six U.S. regions awarded $750,000 by JFF in the Quality Green Jobs Regional Challenge! Through this support—powered by the Ares Charitable Foundation’s CREST initiative they’ll be able to train and place thousands in high-quality green jobs over the next three years. With this funding, they’ll be collaborating with community-based organizations like EC Works on training programs and developing resources to connect job seekers to careers in the clean energy sector. We look forward to empowering our community with green skills and advancing a more resilient, inclusive local economy.
